Codemasters has today announced that it will reveal the new visual style, enhanced landscape engine, and character races for Dragon Empires at next month's E3 in Los Angeles. The game, which is currently scheduled for release in spring 2004, is a massively multiplayer online RPG set in the fantasy world of Fortitude. The gameworld consists of five different empires, each of which is ruled by a different dragon whose personality actually shapes the look and feel of the empire and its large cities.

Dragon Empires is scheduled to go into beta testing later this year, and, although there have already been more than 120,000 applicants, further applications from online gamers are still welcome via the game's official Web site.
