The open world of Dragon Age: Inquisition continues to grow. BioWare on Tuesday released the game's epilogue DLC, Trespasser, across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It's not coming to last-gen consoles.

"It's something we haven't tried before," creative director Mike Laidlaw said about the expansion. "Trespasser tells an entirely new story, set two years after the main game. The story explores what it's like to be a world-saving organization when the world no longer needs saving."

As announced previously, players will "meet and talk with old friends" in their effort to "uncover a new threat." Trespasser sounds like it will wrap up the overall Inquisition story--and tease what's coming next.

"This content marks the end of our time with the Inquisition," Laidlaw said. "I sincerely hope you enjoy it."

Trespasser is available now on all platforms for $15. You can queue up your download right now through these links

Previously released Dragon Age: Inquisition single-player and multiplayer expansions included Jaws of Hakkon, Dragonslayer, Spoils of the Avvar, Spoils of the Qunari, and The Descent.

For lots more on Trespasser and what's next for Laidlaw and BioWare, check out GameSpot's in-depth interview with the designer.

So much hate here for an amazing game and series. Playing from Origins (loved it) to 2 (alright) to this (also loved it) is like playing this medieval tale of magic, politics, love, religion and dragon fighting.

I don't get it, then again playing Bioware's games have ruined me to other games. If they can't offer create a player as in-depth it's a no go. Sadly the only series that's close is Saints Row.

@BrokenChaos666: Agreed same here I am hoping to see a bundle around xmas or the January sales personally I would of loved to have seen a season pass for maybe £20 as a thank you to the fans for playing the series.

I sold my copy of DAI as it was more boring that watching paint dry but seriously you have to pay for an epilogue? Bioware needs to stop trying to be politically correct. Make the women hot like the witcher and stop with the gay romances. It all well downhill for them after mass effect 2. They created the hottest female romance interest Miranda and decided to sideline her for a bloody manly woman Ashley. What were they thinking with Cassandra? She's more manly than Putin...If you're not going to make hot characters fine, I just care about the overall storyline however seeing as you're incapable of making a good storyline then make the characters likeable like mass effect. Lastly if your characters do not look hotter than Triss don't bother making them female.

Tl;dr-make female characters womanly and male characters manly.

@PCsama: Those weren't full blown expansion DLCs. Armor sets and mini quest that should have been in the game from the start.

Cool game and the DLC sounds neat. I'm only about 12 hours into it (Thanks EA Access!), but it sounds like fun for those who have finished the game.

I find that I'm forcing myself to play Inquisition. I didn't like it at first and stopped playing after a few hours in and I'm having my second go at it now. There's too much irrelevant nonsense happening between the main quests. It feels like a single player MMORPG.

While Dragon Age 2 was lambasted for using the same areas over and over and over again, at least it was a much tighter experience. Inquisition feels like it has so much filler... and an RPG is not supposed to feel that way even though filler is what a lot of RPGs have. Skyrim for example doesn't feel like it has much filler at all. If you want to chase the main quest line then you're pretty much going to be able to knock those quests down one after the other. If you want to stop and do another quest line or you're finished with the main one... same thing. In Inquisition, because of the way recommended levels are set up and how slow it is to reach those levels, you're forced to run around and do "walk here and push F" objectives ad nauseam (or run around and push V until you find the thing you push F on) with a light sprinkle of something a little more interesting. It's such a chore to play.

@jinzo9988: Gathering up crafting materials really killed the game for me. The only way I found to make the game bearable is to purposefully play with an unpatched version of the game so that you can make use of the item duplication glitch. Removes the need to keep gathering most materials and lets you get enough money to easily buy the ones you can't duplicate. Makes the game a much better experience.

@jinzo9988: Nailed it. All games are repetitive at times, have filler, time sinks and invisible walls, but it's up to the development to juggle it all, work best within the restrictions and mask the clunkiness correctly. A game that feels like a chore, or better yet - reveals its mechanics too much which makes the player feel he is playing a game, is not doing something right.

Graphics, level design and lore will only get you so far. I also agree that Dragon Age 2 felt better to actually play than Inquisition, regardless of recycled maps.

@Hammershock6: yeah i think, although it had issues with ending, but if i looked past, I was quite blithe playing Me3.....
But DA:I is a very laborious game. these guys need some education in what makes a game fun to play and engaging and what makes it a chore-some game. they know how to write a good story, i will give them that, but to keep an ambition for open world game you need loots, lores, puzzles... killing hordes of darkspawns, stray wolves, and stealth assasins doesnt quite cut it!!

I still feel bio didnt do as much as what they could of for the multiplayer side, they said theyd support it if players supported them, yet we supported it multiplayer ways as much as we did by singleplayer. These developers lately talk a load of smoke and mirrors, just to sell there game. If a games is going to be good that youve made the last thing any dev should be doing is talking crap and telling fans how they will support the game you buy and do not live upto that, in all reality they didnt do crap for multiplayer. I highly enjoyed the game and everytime i hoped for a multiplayer dlc announcement i myself felt let down, yeah they made abit but abit isnt really supporting it is it, i was hoping for a couple of years or more added multiplayer dlc..

Dragon Age Origins - Awakening?!

Awakening didn't keep the same cast of characters as Dragon Age Origins, and it went to tell a different story. Trespasser is keeping the same characters, the same Inquisition, and showing their last great struggle and a conclusion to the game. A playable epilogue, if you will. An equivalent for Awakening would have the Wardens dealing with the pressures of their power in Ferelden, and the Hero of Ferelden bringing back all his old companions. That is not what we got in the actual Awakening. It was more of a side story that took place after the original game.
