Dr. Mario coming to the Nintendo 64
Nintendo has confirmed a sequel to the NES puzzle game.
Nintendo confirmed today that it will release Dr. Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64 sometime this year. The sequel to the NES, SNES, and Game Boy puzzle games will support up to four players, but otherwise it appears to be very similar to previous versions of the series. Past installments of Dr. Mario required that the player stack pill capsules with dual colors while attempting to line up the like colors and clear rows. Dr. Mario will feature several popular characters from the Nintendo universe.
Dr. Mario is currently scheduled for release on April 9 for a discounted price of US$29.95.
