In the race for in-game ad supremacy, there are only a few significant players. One of them, Israel-based Double Fusion, said today an updated software development kit is being made available to game developers and publishers.

Among the new features are Flash video support, updated security features, and a new "Ad Studio" front end, making the insertion of ads easier for game developers.

The company credits itself with a number of industry firsts, including support for streaming video, support for 3D object advertising, and the ability to measure and report on advertising displayed while the user is offline, according to a statement.

Cofounder Guy Bendov said of the new tools: "By making the SDK easily available through download, and by providing technical support to those downloaders, we're able to show developers and publishers just how easy it is to add advertising revenues to the bottom line of your titles."

The SDK is available free to "qualified" publishers and developers through a download at the company's Web site.
