Doom: Watch Every Glory Kill in This 9-Minute Video

It turns out Doomguy is actually pretty creative when it comes to beating up demons.

Doom is all about killing demons, and you can do so in some pretty gruesome ways. YouTuber TheKingofPikmin has claimed the title of King of Glory Kills in a new video that shows off what seems like every single execution in the game (via PC Gamer).

Snapping necks, stomping faces, and punching eyes: Doomguy is a wedgie and a swirlie away from being a big bully to these demons. However, I think they had it coming with the whole "invasion" thing. You can watch a bunch of these dang demons get their comeuppance in the video below.

TheKingofPikmin collected the special executions in the campaign and Snap Map modes, though they noted that there are different Glory Kills in multiplayer--they're also working on making a video that features those.

Glory Kills serve as your source for health. After taking the right amount of damage, a demon will start to stumble, at which point you can run up and perform one of these Glory Kills. An animation plays out that's appropriate to where you are in relation to the demon, which can result in some pretty hilarious moments. They're a lot of fun to watch and pull off.

However, the executions aren't loved by everyone. Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski said he thinks Doom is "fantastic so far" but believes the game shouldn't focus on executions as much as it does.

In related news, some players have had some issues with Doom on PC, such as mouse smoothing, the intro movies, and the long loading screen. Players have found ways to fix these and you can find out how to do it yourself here.

GameSpot does not currently have a review up for Doom, though you can check out critic Peter Brown's early thoughts in our review-in-progress.

"As much as I wish I was currently playing Doom on PC--both to experience the full extent of the work that went into the game's art and effects and to wield the accuracy of a mouse--the PlayStation 4 version hasn't really let me down. I don't appreciate the texture issues, but they pass quickly enough that I can focus on what matters: shotgunning demons, point-blank. With numerous monstrosities and new weapons on the horizon, I'm ready to keep the train to hell rolling," he said. "Come back early next week to see if I make it out with my positivity intact on the other side."
