Doom 3 Announced for the Xbox
Following an appearance at the Microsoft press conference, id Software officially confirms that its much-anticipated first-person action game is heading to the Xbox.
Activision and id Software have officially announced that Doom 3 will be released for the Xbox. This announcement follows the game's surprise appearance at last night's Microsoft press conference, where new footage of the game was revealed. Doom 3 isn't expected to be at E3 in playable form, but id will be showing off a new trailer for the game.
A release date for the Xbox version hasn't been announced yet. Doom 3 for the PC is due out late this year.
