A new red band trailer for Sony's Don't Breathe 2 has arrived, and it's so scary it might take your breath away. The new video spotlights the numerous and horrific ways that Stephen Lang's Norman Nordstrom character will kill people as he tries to save his adopted daughter (Madelyn Grace).

It's not for the faint of heart, and likely not a good idea to watch if you're in a public setting. With those warnings out of the way, here's the new red band trailer for Don't Breathe 2:

Don't Breathe 2's official description reads, "The sequel is set in the years following the initial deadly home invasion, where Norman Nordstrom (Stephen Lang) lives in quiet solace until his past sins catch up to him."

The movie flips the script on its head, as this time Nordstrom is breaking into a house to save his adopted daughter (via Collider). It's directed by Rodo Sayagues, who wrote and produced the 2016 original. The original movie's director, Fede Alvarez, is back as a writer alongside Sayagues.

The original Don't Breathe made more than $157 million at the global box office against a reported budget of less than $10 million.

Don't Breathe 2 opens on the spooky day of Friday the 13th of August. It releases that day alongside the Ryan Reynolds video game movie Free Guy.
