Nintendo's latest Wii U exclusive, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, has entered the UK charts in ninth after its first weekend on sale.

It was the highest new entry in the chart for the week, way ahead of Rambo: The Videogame in 21st.

The Lego Movie Videogame secured first place for the second week running, with sales increasing due to the streets being full of kids taking their half-term break from school.

Football sim FIFA 14 was second, Call of Duty: Ghosts third, Battlefield 4 fourth, and Lego Marvel Superheroes was fifth.

Lego titles accounted for nine games in the UK top 40 this week, with The Lego Movie perhaps reigniting interest in the entire series.

The rest of the top ten was rounded out by Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition in sixth, Grand Theft Auto V in seventh, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag in eighth, and Rayman Legends in tenth.
