Recently, the cast of Community reunited to live stream a table read of the episode “Cooperative Polygraphy,” to raise money for COVID-19 relief. During the stream, Donald Glover and Danny Pudi talked about how a possible Community movie would work.

“I love the idea of Troy being lost and Abed’s mission is to go find him, try to track someone down. That could be kind of fun,” said Pudi.

“I feel like Abed’s got to find him. I like movies like that,” Glover continued.

Community head writer and creator, Harmon agreed. "It writes itself. Just put in some Die Hard references."

The table read included the main cast: Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Jim Rash, Ken Jeong, and Donald Glover. Creator Dan Harmon directed the table, and The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal filled in for Walton Goggins who played the Private Investigator.

Following the reading, the cast answered questions submitted on Twitter to the official @CommunityTV account.

The table read took place on Monday, May 19, and can be rewatched on YouTube in case you missed it. Over $100,000 was raised for Frontline Foods and World Central Kitchen due to the live stream.
