Japanese firm Atlus has announced that it is developing a dodgeball game for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. The game, titled Dodgeball Fighters, follows the basic rules of dodgeball as it is played in schoolyards around the world - the object is to eliminate all the players on the opposing team. Each player in Dodgeball Fighters has a physical strength meter, and in the game's survival dodgeball mode, players are eliminated when their strength meter is depleted.

Dodgeball Fighters for the GBA has 13 teams in all, and multiple human players can compete using the Game Boy Advance link cable. The game's release is currently planned for spring 2001 in Japan. There has been no word on a US release at this time.
