Doctor Lautrec makes appointment with 3DS
Konami bringing new puzzle adventure game to Nintendo's newest handheld in Europe and North America this summer.
Professor Layton is already set for a showdown with Phoenix Wright, but the logic-loving academic is due for a little more competition, courtesy of Konami. The publisher today announced that it will launch a 3DS puzzle adventure game starring its own keen-minded advanced-degree holder this summer.
Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights will introduce Jean-Pierre Lautrec, doctor of archeology, and his student assistant, Sophie Coubertin. Set in Paris during the late 1800s, the game will follow Lautrec and Sophie as they search for the lost treasure of Louis XIV, a hunt that has also drawn the interest of a crime syndicate.
In addition to a single-player adventure designed to last roughly 10 hours, the game will feature a cooperative and competitive four-player Treasure Hunt mode, with extra missions available to download.
