I've been listening to his music for years now. He's actually a cool dude and has been a gamer longer then most people here. So he dislikes halo 5. I don't get why you, Gamespot, are so obsessed with posting these articles. There ares many singers, actors, ect who are gamers and said certain games are "shit". It's his fucking opinion stop bashing on people Eddie.

The fun thing about this is that it's now become one of those "fool me once" type situations. He complains once about a game that a lot of people honestly felt fell short and there's the sense of "ah, see... this is another person, a vaguely well known person, who's speaking out about the hype machine and a game that isn't as great as the ads crammed down our throats want gamers to believe." But now, by complaining about how he can't get kills in Halo 5 because of lag, he's just showing that he's crap at MP games, completely invalidating his opinion and showing him for the spoiled brat he is.

Dammit... that means I have to reconsider my stance on Battlefront...

What is this his new side job? Just because he was spot on about Battlefront he's now qualified to talk about all games?

I haven't played 4 or 5 but I can gaurantee you they are no different and no more skill-requiring than Halo 2, which we can assume is the last entry he played because his band was on the soundtrack.

If you want to talk about games that take no skill and/or are literally broken, there are plenty to choose from: Any modern CoD, Any modern Battlefield, Day of Defeat Source, the new Battlefront, CS:GO - I can honestly keep going.

Even so "because your connection is better" is 100% the law of the land for multiplayer online shooters. Even with Google fiber, you're still going to get bullshat on a nonstop basis. It's how online shooters work. You can either try to live with it and accept that you're going to get lagshot - all the time - or you can make the choice to quit playing multiplayer shooters. It's not easy, I struggle with it all the time - but I quit playing literally all online shooters. They aren't worth the wasted time or effort or the stress you're going to endure when you shoot people 3 times in the head and they don't die because of poor hit reg, poor netcode, ridiculous packet loss and lerp, shitty tick rate games and servers, or any of a dozen other reasons.

Not sure how he suddenly became a spokesperson for this, but I wasn't planning to buy it anyway. I haven't bought a Halo game in a while actually, and with Blockbuster gone, I can't even rent them anymore. Next he'll be complaining about how there's too much shooting in Uncharted 4 instead of exploration.

Normally I would agree with the sentiment, mostly because 343 ruined the series for me but this is just... sad, a guy who is two years older than me goes around breaking his controllers because he is bad at a game? Seriously how can you have not learned to control yourself yet? Anyway don't get Hao 5 because it's a shadow of a series that was once great ignore the idiot man child who can't control his temper.
