Disney Plus The Falcon And Winter Soldier And WandaVision Get Rough Release Dates
It's going to be a busy year for Disney+ original series.
Disney+ will have a busy year in 2020. Aside from all the content arriving as far as movies and TV series goes, two Marvel Cinematic Universe series will be arriving, and we now have a general idea of when The Falcon and Winter Solider and WandaVision will hit the streaming service.
During an investor call, CEO of Disney Bob Iger revealed that the first MCU TV series on the Disney+ streaming service--The Falcon and Winter Solider--will be arriving this August. The series stars Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Daniel Brühl as Zemo, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker AKA U.S. Agent.
Additionally, the "f***king bonkers" show WandaVision will be coming to the service in October. Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen reprise their roles as Vision and Scarlet Witch respectively. Additionally, Teyonah Parris will play Monica Rambeau, Randall Park will play Jimmy Woo, and Kat Dennings will play Darcy Lewis.
The first footage for both of these series debuted during a commercial in this year's Super Bowl. While the ad didn't give a lot away about these shows, we still have some theories about where they could be headed.
