Disney Plus Drops Groovy Trailer For Musical Muppet Series Starring Dr. Teeth And The Electric Mayhem

Disney+ has released the trailer for The Muppets Mayhem, a musical series set to premiere on May 10. The show follows the Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem--the iconic band from The Muppets--finally getting their act together to head into the studio and record a debut album after four decades.

The band is guided by young music executive Nora Singh, played by Lilly Singh, who aims to bring their music into the modern era and navigate the challenges of the music industry. This being The Muppets, they are flanked by an impressive and expansive ensemble of supporting guest stars. Check out the trailer below, which is packed with familiar faces.

The trailer reveals a star-studded cast of guest stars, including "Weird Al" Yankovic, Tommy Lee, Lil Nas X, Chris Stapleton, Kevin Smith, and others. Along the way, the band encounters Morgan Freeman, Billy Corgan, Kesha, Susanna Hoffs, Paula Abdul, Ryan Seacrest, Tommy Chong, Cheech Marin, Rachel Bloom, Ziggy Marley, Kristen Schaal, Ben Schwartz, Jack McBrayer, Joe Lo Truglio, and Danny Trejo. All of that is just for starters--there are still additional guest stars.

All episodes of The Muppets Mayhem will premiere May 10 on Disney+, with the accompanying soundtrack also releasing on streaming platforms the same day. The Electric Mayhem's self-titled debut album will be released on vinyl on May 12.
