With Dishonored 2's release coming up very soon, Bethesda published the game's launch trailer today.

The video (watch it in the embed above) covers some of the game's story and shows off its world and characters, so be aware of that if you're hoping to go into the game with fresh eyes. There are also some violent and bloody sequences on display, as well as a look at a few special abilities.

Dishonored 2 officially launches on November 11, but people who preorder the game can start playing a day early, beginning on November 10. Additionally, preorders come with a free (digital) copy of Dishonored: Definitive Edition, which includes all previously released DLC.

In other news about the game, it's been confirmed that there will be a 9 GB day one patch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One that improves things like load times, texture streaming, audio mixing, frame rate, and shadow quality. The update also contains numerous bug fixes.
