Originally scheduled for an October 9 release date, Dirt 5 was bumped slightly to its new release date of October 16. GameSpot went hands-on with Dirt 5 recently, and Michael Higham shared some words on how the latest chapter in the series is an even wilder ride than usual. "With Dirt 5, the series isn't all about rally racing anymore; instead, it's embracing the chaos of off-roading, and at least that's still staying true to its name," he wrote.
Dirt 5 will also arrive on PS4 and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions arriving later in the year. You'll also be able to grab a free next-gen upgrade on the console of your choice whether you buy physically or digitally.
