Strategy First has announced that Diggles, its real-time strategy game set in a magical underground fantasy world, has shipped and will soon be available in stores. Players assume control of a group of dwarves that must descend underground in order to find and disarm a dangerous hellhound. The epic quest will take decades and several generations of dwarves to complete. Players will have to teach successive generations of dwarves survival skills such as how to forge weapons, cook food, retrieve valuable resources, and produce machinery for construction. The game features four different worlds and more than 100 different quests to complete.

Diggles was developed by Innonics and will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $39.99. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
