DICE awarding double XP for all Battlefield 4 players after technical hiccups
Double XP will kick in for all platforms November 28-December 5; players will also receive DICE-exclusive pistol scope.
The Battlefield 4 worldwide rollout was not without technical difficulties, so players may be happy to learn DICE is attempting to make good on those issues by offering double XP. From November 28-December 5, players across all platforms will earn double XP in every multiplayer match they complete, DICE announced today.
"We understand that the launch issues may have impacted your progression, and we want to do everything we can to help you get back the XP that you may have lost," DICE general manager Karl Magnus Troedsson said.
In addition, when the double XP week ends on December 5, DICE will give all players who have logged into the game a M1911 pistol scope. This special sidearm scope was previously reserved for DICE developers only. It has 3X zoom and is available for all classes in Battlefield 4.
"You are the heart and soul of Battlefield," Magnus Troedsson said. "We thank you for your support in these early days of the launch, and will continue to show our appreciation as time goes on."
