why release it with the game instead of before? I would have read it because I am looking forward to the game so much, but once the game comes out I will be playing the game so much I definitely will not find the time to tear myself away from it and read instead.

Not bad, not amazing. It's understood, given the source material, that some of this is going to come across a little cheesy, but having cliches like the paladin exclaiming, "“I must try, for the sake of everything holy. The Zakarum faith teaches us to resist all evil things, to fight against them with our last breath" is a little heavy-handed.

@CPLDAN_aus "" I've personally never really been a fan of Blizzard lore,"" this says u dont follow blizzard at all and this comment is not for you. if u want know what i said go through Diablo Lore once .. if u are good enough following lore then u will never compare Blizzard Lore. and Mass effect is a story not lore compared to lore.

@vijaynine I used to follow Warcraft lore so much, and as a current fan of SC2, I completely disagree with this comment. Blizzard may have been good regarding lore in the early and mid 2000s, but lately their writing has been exceptionally sub par. They pretty much made Warcraft lore into a complete joke with WoW, and the Starcraft 2 story isn't much better. In fact, the story in both games as of now are horrible.

I think it's just because Chris Metzen is the head writer, and he just can't write anything beyond: All the races team up to face the big bad.

The only saving Grace Blizzard has is that their gameplay is ALWAYS amazingly good. They spend years on these games, and you can tell right away upon playing them. I don't expect Diablo 3 to have a good story, but if I ever do decide to play it, I am sure I would have a freaking blast.

@vijaynine I've personally never really been a fan of Blizzard lore, just never clicked with me, so imho I'd have to say games like TES, the Witcher, and maybe Mass Effect (not counting the 3rd games ending) have far more interesting lore. But maybe that's just me

@sar1995 lol, I miss disliking comments, now every douche/troll can say what they want and get away with it. Not that the guy "above" you is one, that's an ok comment whether we agree with it or not.

@wexorian Not so sure about Warcraft, its a little bit off the chart after the recent events with WoW. We'll see what happens in Diablo 3 and decide which one is better.
