Diablo III has now sold 15 million copies
Total lifetime sales of Blizzard Entertainment's dungeon-crawler reach new milestone across all platforms.
Diablo III has now sold 15 million copies across all platforms, Activision Blizzard announced today during a post-earnings financial call. The last sales update for the game came in November, when the company announced 14 million sales.
The game originally launched for PC in May 2012 and came to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in September 2013. A PlayStation 4 version is slated to arrive sometime in 2014, but so far no mention has been made of an Xbox One iteration, despite numerous retailer listings.
The Diablo III: Reaper of Souls expansion launches on PC and Mac on March 25. It's been confirmed for the PS4, but so far we've yet to hear if it's also coming to Xbox 360 and PS3. For more on Diablo III, check out GameSpot's review.
