Diablo II Ships for Mac

Blizzard announced today that the Mac version of Diablo II is now shipping, just two weeks after the PC release. Blizzard has a history of releasing its popular games on the Mac, but the conversion process has often resulted in long delays. Nonetheless Blizzard has enjoyed a degree of commercial success with Mac versions of Warcraft II, Diablo, Starcraft, and Broodwar. To bring the Mac release current with the PC version and Battle.net's servers, Blizzard has made the Mac 1.02 patch available.
