Although Diablo 4, along with Activision Blizzard's other titles, will not arrive on Xbox Game Pass for a few months at least, you can play the devilish RPG for free on Xbox this weekend.

From October 19-22, you can download Diablo 4 and play up to 10 hours for free. You'll have access to the full game or rather as much of it as you can squeeze into the 10-hour trial period. You can purchase the game for 25% percent off and continue right where you left off.

Diablo 4 may come to Game Pass at some point, but not for a while yet. Just before Microsoft's acquisition of the company closed, Activision Blizzard stated that its games will not be available on Game Pass in 2023. Phil Spencer confirmed that no Activision games will hit Game Pass until 2024. Neither statement specified a more exact timeline.

After winning the case against the US's Federal Trade Commission, and making concessions for approval from the UK's regulators, Microsoft closed its $68.7 billion deal to obtain Activision Blizzard. Current CEO Bobby Kotick is set to remain at Activision through 2023 to oversee the transition. As reports of a toxic work culture at Activision Blizzard surfaced, employees accused Kotick of knowing about and hiding sexual assault and harassment claims.
