Diablo 4 - Best Sorcerer Enchantments To Use

Enchantments are the unique class element for the Sorcerer in Diablo 4, so here are the best ones to use for all builds.

Each class in Diablo 4 has a specialization that makes them unique from the other classes in the game. As an example, Druids have Animal Spirits, Necromancers have the Book of the Dead, and so on. If you are planning a Sorcerer build in Diablo 4, then you will want to familiarize yourself with Enchantments, which is that class' specialization.

Enchantments are slotted like normal skills, but they have a different function when put into the Enchantment slot. This allows players to even further customize their build with an extra couple of powerful skills that can sway the tides of a battle. Below, we have listed the best Enchantments for Sorcerers to use in general and for specific builds.

Best Sorcerer Enchantments

As previously stated, Enchantments come from the normal skills that you can unlock as a Sorcerer in Diablo 4. The only difference is that you have two Enchantment slots and the skills perform a different function compared to their normal abilities. By hovering over a skill in the skills menu of Diablo 4, you can see what each skill does when they're slotted as an Enchantment.

You unlock your first Enchantment slot when you complete a Sorcerer-specific quest at level 15 and the second slot unlocks at level 30. We have listed all of the functions of skill Enchantments in a previous guide, but now it's time to go into which ones you should use over others.

General Enchantments

These Enchantments work best for a build that isn't going in a specific direction (i.e. Frost, Lightning, Fire). You will get the best bang for your buck with these Enchantments regardless of what other skills you have currently equipped. These Enchantments are largely time-based and don't require you to cast any specific type of skill to activate.

  • Fireball
  • Hydra
  • Incinerate
  • Teleport
  • Blizzard
  • Frost Nova
  • Meteor

Frost Sorcerer Enchantments

If you're running a Frost Sorcerer, you have plenty of options available to you when it comes to Enchantments. Not all of the Enchantments we list will be frost-based, though, as some of them can deal damage regardless of what elemental damage you are specializing in for your build.

The Hydra Enchantment spawns an extra two serpent heads.

  • Ice Shards
  • Blizzard
  • Ice Armor
  • Fireball (terrific against frozen enemies since the explosion upon death will trigger a chain reaction amongst all of the other frozen enemies)
  • Teleport (useful for getting out of sticky situations if you're playing close quarters)

Lightning Sorcerer Enchantments

Next up, we have the Enchantments for a Lightning Sorcerer. You have quite a few options when it comes to lightning skills, but most of them rely on Crackling Energy and stunning enemies.

  • Teleport
  • Lightning Spear
  • Spark
  • Charged Bolts
  • Fireball (a useful skill for any build due to the explosion damage, which pairs nicely with Crackling Energy damage)

Fire Sorcerer Enchantments

Finally, we have arrived at the last Sorcerer. Fire skills in Diablo 4 make for the best Enchantments, as they can be widely used by any build and can deal a plethora of passive damage.

  • Fireball
  • Firewall
  • Incinerate
  • Hydra
  • Frost Nova (only if you're using one or two conjuration skills, which is common with Fire Sorcerers due to the Hydra skill)

And that does it for our picks for the best Enchantments for all types of Sorcerers in Diablo 4. It's very possible this list could change in the future due to any nerfs or buffs.
