Devolver Direct 2020, One Of The Best Parts Of E3 Each Year, Is On Track To Air Next Month

The publisher's showcase will show off some new games--and continue the ongoing narrative--next month, if all goes as planned.

Comments

Devolver Digital has, historically, always done E3 a little differently, hosting an unofficial showing in a lot near the Los Angeles Convention Center and releasing reveal videos that mix new game trailers and announcements with a strange, ongoing narrative element. The Devolver Direct, also known as the Big Fancy Press Conference, has been running since 2017--but with E3 cancelled this year, it hasn't been clear when we'd see the next installment.

Now, Devolver Digital has given us some idea of when the stream will go ahead. In a tweet, Devolver Digital said that the video will release in "mid-July", if all goes as planned. They've promised that there will be a mix of updates and release dates for games we're already aware of, as well as new reveals.

Upcoming Devolver Digital published games that we might expect to see more of during the stream include Serious Sam 4, Fall Guys, Disc Room, and Carrion. Hopefully nothing too awful will happen to Devolver's chief synergy officer Nina Struthers in this year's video.
