Devil May Cry 5 Trailer And Deluxe Edition Revealed At TGS

Capcom makes some big announcements about Devil May Cry 5.

Alongside the release of a new trailer, Capcom has announced Devil May 5's Deluxe Edition. It comes with a number of extras, perhaps the most notable of which is Mega Man's megabuster for Nero.

You can see the buster in action in the new gameplay video above. One thing to note is that the camera angles in the trailer have been altered for the purpose of showing it off. An impressive new trailer for Devil May Cry 5 was also released as part of Tokyo Game Show.

The Devil May Cry 5 Deluxe Edition also includes three other Devilbreaker weapons (one of which is for eating pasta), as well as live-action cutscenes, 12 music tracks from Devil May Cry 1-4, the Cavaliere motorcycle weapon for Dante, and other digital content. It costs $70 USD. Devil May Cry 5 launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 8, 2019.

2019 is slated to be a great year for Capcom.

First RE2 Remake at the beginning of the year then this later. We really are seeing shades of that old Capcom that gamers fell in love with.

Ok, I have always been a fan of this franchise, these games have been a day one purchase for me since playing the original. What I dont understand is why go back to this story line? Are they just going to scrap the story line reboot by Ninja Theory after I adjusted to it and became interested in how it all plays out. I thought we were going to get a first hand look at twins rivaly and how it escalates to the point where they are always trying to kill each other. Now we are picking up after the events of DMC 4 with Nero and the chick with the rocket Launcher all present. Its good to see Trish back in it but I have never seen something get a reboot and then after the reboot they do a "Pre-boot" ( Im making that a word now). Thats like going back and making Spiderman 4 with Tobey Maguire after all this time. I just hope they do it right.
