Destructive Heist Thriller Teardown Coming To Steam Later This Month
The physics-driven heist game Teardown will come to Steam Early Access soon, according to a tweet from its developer.
If you're looking for a unique take on the concept of a physics sandbox on PC, there's a game coming to Steam soon that might interest you. Teardown certainly looks the part of a Minecraft-inspired building game--all blocky voxels and carefully-crafted environments--but it's actually much more about kicking over the digital Legos instead of building them up.
It is now official: Teardown is coming to Steam Early Access on October 29th!

The developer of Teardown describes it as a heist game where you use a variety of tools and techniques to break into heavily-fortified compounds and get away before you're caught. Players can use speedboats, construction equipment, explosives, or even lightning to breach perimeters and tear an escape route through the environment.
According to the game's official website, Teardown will come to Steam on October 29 in Early Access. The game requires a fairly beefy PC to run at a high frame rate due to its reliance on physics simulation, and it will cost $20. The developer says that the price will not change even as the game proceeds into full release. The studio estimates that the game will take at least one year in Early Access, though it will ultimately depend on fan feedback. Teardown will also include a sandbox mode and robust modding support, though not in its original Early Access release.
