Bungie is working on a fix for a bug that is causing some Destiny players to lose items when they attempt to move them with the game's companion app, the developer has announced.
Last Month, Bungie released an update to the game's companion app, allowing players to equip or move weapons to their vaults from the comfort of their smartphones. Initially, this increased the number of times players received "WEASEL" errors, but this issue has been addressed since, so fewer players should encounter them.
However, the companion app is still having some issues. "Additionally, we have heard reports that players are losing items when transferring items using the Companion app," Bungie said in its latest weekly update. "While we investigate this issue, please be sure to check all Inventories amongst your characters, and to use caution when transferring items during mission countdown timers and load-ins for maps."
Bungie also said that if you're experiencing an issue where you can't see your Xbox characters on your Bungie.net profile or the companian app, you should report it in this thread. If you're encountering an issue where you cannot see your Xbox One friends list, try this Help article here.
Finally, the developer said that it will release update 1.1.2 before the release of the next expansion, House of Wolves, which doesn't have a release date yet.
