King's Fall goes live for owners of The Taken King on Friday, September 18, at 10 AM PDT. As always, you'll need a team of six to tackle the raid--at least until expert players manage to do it with less. You won't need to complete any specific quest or anything to enter the raid, but you will need to first reach level 40, according to a tweet from Bungie's Luke Smith.
Bungie has previously said this is Destiny's biggest raid yet.
The Taken King launched earlier this week, breaking PlayStation download records and setting a new record for total players and peak online users, even beating out the launch of the base game in 2014. The expansion costs $40 on its own or is available in (among other versions) the $60 Legendary Edition that includes the base games and all three expansions released to date.
