Destiny's 1.2.0 update--which features a long list of changes including major tweaks to Commendations and more--will arrive today, May 6, Bungie has announced on Twitter. However, a follow-up tweet explains that the patch won't actually be activated until sometime later.

"We will soon be pushing the 1.2.0 patch for Destiny. Players will be kicked from activities and required to download the patch," Bungie explained. The studio added: "The work being done by @BungieHelp today will deploy 1.2.0 but not activate it. Changes will go live at a later date to be announced."

Patch 1.20 is expected to be activated across all platforms sometime before the release of Destiny's House of Wolves expansion on May 19. There is no indication yet as to how large the patch is in terms of file size. We're also still waiting on the final patch notes for Destiny 1.2.0.
