Destiny Offers New PS4/PS3-Exclusive Armor in Next Iron Banner

Destiny's Iron Banner multiplayer mode is coming back later this month, and it's bringing with it new PlayStation-exclusive armor.

The latest Bungie Weekly Update is mostly devoid of any new developments on the game, but it does again state that Iron Banner will be back sometime after 10 AM PST on Tuesday, December 29. (That's shortly after the Sparrow Racing League comes to a close.) Unlike last time, the mode of choice is what was seen in earlier instances of Iron Banner: Control.

Bungie also showed off the possible rewards that await those who participate in Iron Banner. Most notably, there are six new pieces of armor that are exclusive to the PS3 and PS4 versions of Destiny. You can see these in the image above, and click through the images below it to see weapons and armor available to Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks on all platforms.

Destiny received a big update earlier this month tweaking balance and adjusting Titans, in particular. Bungie and Activision are also now, somewhat controversially, offering paid level boosts for the game.
