The original story is below.
Destiny's new Nightfall Strike is running into some issues--and Bungie is on the case.
Reports on the Destiny sub-Reddit indicate that there is a bug in the latest Nightfall Strike--Sunless Cell--that prevents a certain door from opening. The door must open for players to advance to a final showdown against the Darkblade boss, meaning the Strike is effectively broken (via VG247).
According to one Redditor, enemies fail to spawn during first half of the Sunless Cell Nightfall. The bigger problem, however, is that the door to the boss battle won't open. "Tried a wipe, but still nothing," RumorsOFsurF wrote.
Thankfully for fans, Bungie is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.
We are aware of reported issues with the weekly Nightfall and are investigating. Please stand by.
