Destiny 2's Arc 3.0 Now Has More Fragments To Unlock

Bungie didn't unlock every Arc Fragment right at the launch of the new season, but they're available now.

Comments

Arc 3.0 is one of the major new features in Destiny 2's new Season of Plunder, and it means that all four subclasses in the game can now be customized in the same manner as Stasis. That's exciting news for those who want more control over their characters, and thanks to the world's first completion of the King's Fall Raid, even more options are now at your disposal.

When Season of Plunder first launched last week, it was unclear how the final four Fragments would be unlocked. In the case of the Solar 3.0 overhaul, a number of Fragments remained locked until the community completed 20 million runs of Nightmare Containment, Season of the Haunted's seasonal activity. So it was a fair bet something similar would follow this time around, but it turns out it was the new, reprised version of the King's Fall Raid that was the trigger.

Now that the Raid has been beaten for the first time, you can head to Ikora Rey at the Tower to unlock the additional Fragments--you don't need to do the Raid yourself or anything else. They cost a fair amount of Glimmer, but once you purchase them from her and follow the ensuing step (which is to say, walking a few feet and then pressing a button), you'll have them unlocked. If you haven't already done so, Ikora also sells several more Arc grenade options for you to unlock, too.

You can check out all four new Fragments below:

Spark of Ions

  • Defeating a jolted target creates an Ionic Trace

Spark of Amplitude

  • Rapidly defeating targets while you are amplified creates an Orb of Power.

Spark of Feedback

  • Taking melee damage briefly increases your outgoing melee damage.
  • +10 Resilience

Spark of Brilliance

  • Defeating a blinded target with precision damage creates a blinding explosion.
  • +10 Intellect
