Destiny 2: Forsaken is coming in September, taking the Guardians back to the Reef with an all-new story focused on taking down Uldren and his Barons. Activision and Bungie have released a new trailer showing off all the new gear you can use to lay waste to your foes.

Weapon highlights include the double-rocket launcher Two-Tailed Fox, the Trinity Ghoul bow to set off electrical storms, One Thousand Voices that creates an exploding beam, and more. That's not all, though. You'll also get a handy assortment of new gadgets and traversal tools like a double-dodge, the ability to slide to deflect projectiles, and a new sword that doubles as a throwing projectile.

The expansion starts with a prison break for the popular character Cayde-6, and ultimately leads up to his probable death. That makes sense, as Nathan Fillion is stepping away from the role. We can expect loads of new gear, along with new Super abilities, a new faction, a new Raid, a Collections feature for tracking all your items, and a Gambit multiplayer mode that's PvPvE.

Forsaken will launch on September 4. It will cost $40 by itself, or you can pay $70 for the Annual Pass. For more details, check out our pre-order guide.
