Microsoft closed down its TV and film division, Xbox Entertainment Studios, in 2014, but if you're looking for another "mixed-media" Xbox game, it could happen.

Microsoft Studios general manager Shannon Loftis told The Guardian that she "would love" to work on another game along the lines of Quantum Break.

"Actually it's getting easier," she said. "As performance capture becomes more sophisticated, the work to bridge the gap between the linear entertainment and the interactive element is becoming less and less. I would love to work on another mixed-media game."

Quantum Break was one of few projects that survived after Xbox Entertainment Studios closed in October 2014. Another that lived on was Steven Spielberg's Halo TV show, though Microsoft has not said anything about it in a while.

The Remedy-developed time-bending action game, Quantum Break, featured a traditional campaign as well as a TV show component. People like Shawn Ashmore (X-Men), Dominic Monaghan (The Lord of the Rings) and Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones) starred in the show.
