Desert Thunder announced
Groove Games announces a third-person shooter that will see players taking the controls of an experimental tank in the Middle East.
Groove Games has today released the first information on Desert Thunder for the PC. The game, which is currently in development at Brainbox Games and uses Unreal engine technology, will see players taking the controls of a top-secret M1A6 experimental tank.
At the beginning of the game, the players' original mission to overthrow a terrorist faction has already been compromised, so, as the only surviving member of their battalion, it's up to them to make their way to the capital city to rendezvous with allied forces. Played from a third-person view, Desert Thunder will purportedly feature the largest environments ever created using Unreal technology, and will give the player access to weapons that are capable of destroying not only other vehicles, but also any walls and buildings that stand in their way.
No release date for Desert Thunder has been announced at this time, but we'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
