Kojima Productions confirmed that the studio is working on a brand-new Death Stranding update. Though it hasn't been officially outlined, the studio announced that the update will be available in the middle of December.

Kojima Productions tweeted the announcement, saying that the upcoming Death Stranding update will let you increase the size of text, dispose of individual vehicles, and more. It's set to go live on PlayStation 4 sometime next month. The studio didn't specify when or if the patch notes will be made available.

While Death Stranding launched for PS4 on November 8 and isn't expected to arrive on PC until summer next year, the game recently got Epic Games Store and Steam store pages. In the meantime, we've put together a handful of guides to help you on your journey on either PS4 or PC.

Death Stranding has left many critics split, with some favoring and others dissenting. We gave the game a 9/10 in our own review, saying, "Death Stranding is a hard game to absorb. It's positive without ignoring pain; in fact, it argues in both its story and its gameplay that adversity itself is what makes things worth doing and life worth living. It's a game that requires patience, compassion, and love, and it's also one we really need right now."
