Deals On PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch Games This Week At GameStop (US)
It's a good time to trade in old games for new.
Each Wednesday, GameStop refreshes its weekly deals. The current sale has some good deals on all kinds of things, ranging from games and accessories to collectibles and apparel. And if you're looking to unload some items, you just might get some bonus credit for trading them in this week. Let's take a look at what's in this week's GameStop ad.
On the trading front, you'll get $20 off of any new game or pre-order when you trade in select games; you can view the list here. You'll get $5 extra credit for trading in any Switch game this week. Trade in a current-gen console, and you'll receive $25 extra credit. And if you trade a current-gen system toward an Xbox One X, you'll get up to $300 in credit.
PS4 owners who buy a PS4 Cloud Remote for media playback will also get a free 30-day trial of PlayStation Vue, Sony's cable service for cord-cutters. For Xbox One owners, you can get select wireless controllers for $10 off this week.
With Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 now available, you might be inspired to pick up some Call of Duty collectibles or apparel. It's 20% off this week, as are most Overwatch collectibles. You'll find t-shirts, hoodies, hats, socks, lanyards, backpacks, toys, statues, and all sorts of things you can wear or display on a shelf for either game.
In terms of game deals, it's fairly slim pickings this week, but to celebrate the start of the new NBA season, NBA 2K19 is on sale for $40--not bad, seeing as it's only a month old. NHL 19 is also discounted to $40, and Burnout Paradise Remastered is on sale for $20. You can find more deals listed below.
