Deadly Skies III dated for Europe

Konami announces that it will release the European version of AirForce Delta Strike in April. New screens inside.

Konami has today confirmed that Deadly Skies III will be arriving in stores across Europe in April. The game, which is known as AirForce Delta Strike in North America, is the first in the popular air combat simulation series to appear on the PlayStation 2.

In Deadly Skies III, players will select one of 20 different characters before embarking on a futuristic campaign spanning some 60 squad-based missions. The game will feature more than 130 different aircraft including World War II fighters, the Vic Viper that appears in Konami's Gradius series of shooters, and a number of licensed craft such as the MiG-29SMT Fulcrum C, the F-15E Strike Eagle, and the Eurofighter Typhoon.
