Dead Cells was one of GameSpot's best games of 2018, and we weren't alone in that: it also won Action Game of the Year at the Game Awards 2018. Now, the hit action-roguelike game is getting a special bundle called The Prisoner's Edition, which releases for PS4 and Nintendo Switch on June 30 for £90 / €110 / $110 USD. It's set to feature a slew of goodies, including an 8.5-inch figure and a 7-inch vinyl record soundtrack.

The Prisoner's Edition includes Dead Cells: Action Game of the Year Edition and a code for the Bad Seed DLC. The 8.5-inch figure is of the prisoner holding a frying pan. It really stands out, thanks to its vibrant colours. The vinyl record also sports a beautiful orange finish and is joined by three enamel pins, four metallic stickers, an art book, a keychain, a numbered certificate card, and an art card, all encased within a collector's metal tin.

This edition is limited to 10,000 copies, and pre-orders are available right now through Signature Edition's store and other retailers. The first 500 to pre-order will receive a special collector's coin. This is a one-and-done, limited-edition run, so once this sells out, it's gone.

In GameSpot's Dead Cells review, critic Daniel Starkey scored the action-roguelike platformer a 9/10. "Dead Cells is a phenomenal effort to blend together some very disparate genres into a tight, cohesive whole," Starkey wrote. "It's one of the better examples of how to remix ideas without losing their individual strengths."
