Konami announced that Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 2, the upcoming Xbox version of its premier dancing game series, will feature exclusive tunes and remixes from electronica music artist Jesper Kyd. Tracks contributed from the Danish composer will include "Istanbul Café," "Red Room," and "59 (Kyd Konami Mix)."

Currently based in New York City, Kyd has scored game music since the days of the Sega Genesis, providing the soundtracks for such game titles as Freedom Fighters, Hitman: Contracts, and Brute Force. His debut solo album, Deftronic, is currently in the works; more information can be found at his official Web site.

Featuring Xbox Live support, DDR Ultramix 2 lets players compete against other dancers online, conduct tournaments, and download new songs and characters. Kyd's songs will be featured exclusively in the Xbox version, which ships to retail this November.
