It's been over a year since new episodes of the animated DC Comics series Young Justice have debuted. Season 3 of the series, titled Outsiders, concluded in August 2019. After a panel at DC FanDome, though, fans of the show have their first hints about the upcoming Season 4.

It was revealed during the panel, which was moderated by GameSpot's Chris E. Hayner, that the fourth season of Young Justice would be titled Phantoms--and the key art below was released. What's more, the cast and producers of the series revealed that work is well underway. Still, a release date has not been announced. It's also not entirely clear where new episodes of the series would air.

With the launch of Outsiders, Young Justice streamed exclusively on DC Universe. However, it's entirely possible new episodes could also air on the HBO Max streaming service--or move there exclusively. It's already been revealed that Season 3 of Doom Patrol will be an HBO Max exclusive.

As for what will happen in the fourth season of Young Justice, that remains a mystery. However, an original script was performed by the cast during the FanDome panel, set between Seasons 3 and 4, which gave some hints about what's to come.

In the script, Connor Kent (Nolan North) and Megan Morse (Danica McKellar) bid farewell to their friends as they head off for a new adventure on their own, signaling the end of their time on the Team. What's more, Arsenal (Crispin Freeman) joins the Team once again, after an invitation from Artemis Clock (Stephanie Lemelin).

So, at the very least, the Team will look a bit different when Season 4 premieres. Now, the wait begins for a Young Justice: Phantoms premiere date announcement.
