DC's The Flash Director Reveals New Logo

Andy Muschietti reveals the new logo that Barry Allen will wear in the upcoming DC movie.

The DC movie The Flash is currently in production and director Andy Muschietti has released another new image. The movie stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, and it's set for release on November 4, 2022.

Like the previous images that Muschietti has posted on Instagram, this latest one is a close-up on an iconic superhero symbol. After the bloody Batman logo we saw earlier this month, we're now back to the Flash himself. While the lightning bolt symbol is familiar, it's definitely had a bit of redesign, and looks very impressive and, yes, striking. Check it out below:

The Flash is influenced by the classic Flashpoint storyline from DC comic books, in which Barry enters alternate timelines. Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton are both returning to their roles from previous Batman movies as Bruce Wayne, with Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, and Ron Livingston as Henry Allen.

The road to this point has been a rocky one for The Flash. The movie was stuck in development for years and has gone through a revolving door of directors, including Seth Grahame-Smith, Rick Famuyiwa, and John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Muschietti, who previously helmed the It movies, joined the project in July 2019.

In related news, the title of the upcoming Aquaman sequel has been revealed to be Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Jason Momoa will play Aquaman once again, with James Wan directing. For more, check out GameSpot's guide to every upcoming DC movie we know about to date.
