DC Virtua Striker Due December
Sega's soccer arcade title is making its way to gamers' machines this holiday season in Japan.
The latest issue of Dreamcast Magazine reports that Virtua Striker 2 ver. 2000.1 is scheduled for a release this December in Japan. The game is a direct port of Sega's soccer arcade title for the Dreamcast console. It will feature original game modes, like the International Cup mode, where the game has a similar format to that of the World Cup. Players can also save their favorite replays onto their Visual Memory Unit. Improvements over the arcade titles include the implementation of yellow and red cards and a team-formation setup.
Virtua Striker 2 ver.2000.1 for the Dreamcast is scheduled for a December 2 release for a price of 5800yen (about US$55) in Japan.
