Activision announced on Tuesday that Vigilante 8: Second Offense for the Sega Dreamcast has shipped to stores. The game was previously released for the PlayStation last month, and a Nintendo 64 version will hit stores in January (according to sources, the N64 version hit snags in production).

"Vigilante 8: Second Offense is the must-have, auto-combat title of the year," stated Mitch Lasky, executive vice president of Activision Studios. "The game delivers all the breakthrough elements of Vigilante 8 and ups the ante by further redefining the auto-combat genre with its morphing vehicle advancements. "

Vigilante 8: Second Offense for the Dreamcast should be available in stores nationwide this week at a suggested price of US$49.95.
