The upcoming DC superhero movie Black Adam is coming to an end of its production schedule, and star The Rock has now celebrated the milestone with a neat behind-the-scenes look at the film.

Posting on Instagram, The Rock shared an image of himself, shirtless, having "tiny white tracking dots" applied to his body for a "very cool cutting-edge scene."

These tracking dots, applied by makeup artist Bjoern Rehbein, are being attached to "very specific areas" of The Rock's body so the visual effects team can create some kind of effect.

The Rock said the tracking dots can measure his "muscle fibers intensely activating and moving while Black Adam is raging to seek & destroy his enemies."

Speaking more generally about the film, The Rock said his training, diet, and conditioning on Black Adam has been "relentless," and the most challenging of his entire career. That's because he's had to maintain his look "for months," and reach his peak physical form in the final week of shooting. "Our collective goal is to raise the bar with Black Adam," he said. "To deliver the antihero you’ve been waiting for and you deserve."

Black Adam releases in July 2022. It's directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Run All Night, The Shallows) and also stars Pierce Brosnan, Noah Centineo, and Aldis Hodge.
