DC FanDome Returns In October, Will Feature Aquaman: King of Atlantis, Peacemaker, The Batman, And More

The virtual event will take place on October 16.

As the pandemic continues to be a part of our daily lives, one small consolation is that virtual conventions like DC FanDome seem to be here to stay. The free, global fan experience will be coming back again on October 16 this year, with an all new lineup of breaking news, reveals, and content from upcoming DC movies and TV shows.

There's a ton of stuff that's coming in October. Among the standouts, though, Warner Bros. Television feature new content from upcoming seasons of Batwoman, The Flash, Superman & Lois, and Sweet Tooth. There will also be a first look at the upcoming drama Naomi. Warner Bros. Pictures, meanwhile, will have some sneak peeks at The Batman, Black Adam, plus new content from DC League of Super-Pets. HBO Max will offer a look at the upcoming series Peacemaker and limited event series DMC. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will finally shed some more light on Injustice, with a look specifically at Superman and the rest of the Justice League's role in the adaptation. Finally, Warner Bros. Animation will offer a look at the upcoming limited series Aquaman: King of Atlantis, Season 3 of the adult animated comedy series Harley Quinn, and the series Batman: Caped Crusader.

All this is coming, plus announcements and more content related to video games and comics tied to the broader DC Universe, which means that in the coming weeks there will be further announcements with more specific information on panels and the rest of the fun. There will also be a kid-friendly DC Kids FanDom, where families can "immerse themselves in at-home digital activities all in a safe, kid-friendly environment at"

Last year, DC FanDome proved to be a vibrant convention featuring information about DC content including the DC Extended Universe film franchise, the Arrowverse TV franchise, comic books, and video games. Warner Bros. used the DC FanDome portal and name for the virtual premiere of Wonder Woman 1984 trailer.
