DarkSpace up for grabs
Developer Palestar signs an agreement with Ubi Soft giving it the rights to seek a new publisher for the massively multiplayer space sim.
Texas-based game developer Palestar has announced that it has signed an agreement with Ubi Soft Entertainment giving Palestar the right to continue development of its massively multiplayer space simulation game DarkSpace. The agreement also lets Palestar look for a new publisher for the game. Battle Isle: DarkSpace was dropped by Ubi Soft last month because the publisher felt that the game did not sufficiently continue the Battle Isle tradition. Palestar has dropped the Battle Isle title from the game and plans to start the game's open beta test at the beginning of July.
