Simon & Schuster today announced that Darkened Skye for the GameCube has shipped to stores across North America. The game, which was originally released for the PC in January, is a humorous third-person action adventure in which players assume the role of a heroine named Skye.

Skye of Lynlora is a shepherd by trade, but she has a smart mouth and a craving for adventure that is satisfied on the day she discovers magic and is subsequently chosen to battle the forces of darkness and find five ancient prisms that can save the world. There are puzzles to be solved, monsters to be bashed, and the whole world of Darkened Skye to explore. For more information, check out our full review of the PC version.
