Dark Souls Graphic Novel Series Gets The Box Set Treatment

Return to Lordran with these stories set inside of the Dark Souls universe.

The Dark Souls graphic novel series is getting a new box set on September 19. Published by Titan Comics, the set collects the first three volumes in the ongoing series inside an eye-catching slipcase with new art. Written by George Mann and illustrated by horror artist Alan Quah, the Dark Souls graphic novel series is well-worth a read if you're a fan of From Software's Dark Souls series. If you're interested in returning to the decaying lands of Lordran, you can preorder the box set now at Amazon and Target for $50.

There are three graphic novels in total here--Dark Souls: Breath of Andolus, Dark Souls: Winters Spite, and Dark Souls: Legends of the Flame--each one inspired by the games and filled with gorgeously grotesque art to admire. If you happen to have a From Software fan in the house, this will make for a terrific gift as well, thanks to the sleek packaging.

"Featuring a treasure trove of tales of heroes on different quests within the world of Dark Souls," the official synopsis for the collection reads. "Combatting Dragons and Demons, fighting with fire and fury, and reconciling revenge and retribution, this box set contains a wealth of stories of the warriors who persevered through the harshest of winters and the heaviest of turmoil."

It's worth noting that these three graphic novels were previously compiled in Dark Souls: The Complete Collection, a single volume set that also includes the comic prequel Age of the Fire and Tales of Ember anthology. The single volume collection retails for $35.

Volume 5 of the Dark Souls series, The Willow King, is set to release on August 6. You can find links to each individual volume below. We've also included the Bloodborne graphic novel series, which will expand with its sixth volume on July 9. Lastly, From Software's latest hit, Elden Ring, has a very fun manga series that you should check out before Shadow of the Erdtree releases next month. The third volume of Road to the Erdtree released on May 28.
