Dark Souls DLC on the way?
Report cites source "close to the project" saying new content for From Software RPG is due during the first quarter.
From Software's well-received role-playing game Dark Souls was released in October and went on to ship over 1.5 million units worldwide. Now, it appears the game is growing further still, in the form of downloadable content.
Electronic Gaming Monthly cites a source "close to the project," who says DLC for Dark Souls is currently being "finished up," with a targeted release date set for the first quarter of this year. Unfortunately, EGM's report does not offer any further details on the rumored forthcoming content.
A Namco Bandai representative told GameSpot, "Namco Bandai Games America does not comment on rumor or speculation."
Set in a sinister fantasy world, Dark Souls features a variety of outdoor areas that are seamlessly connected to one another. The game also features a distinctive approach to multiplayer, with various new tweaks allowing players to help or hinder each other's progression.
